Maximise your child's potential by equipping them with problem solving and communication skills today
With the world changing and knowledge now easily accessible through avenues such as the internet and AI, it has become more important for our youth to learn the right skills and build the right capabilities to differentiate themselves to succeed.
Skills such as problem solving and communication help with more than just academic achievements and competitions. It helps them excel at their extracurricular activities such as sport, art or drama. It helps them navigate life and manage daily issues when they arise. It helps them feel in control, empowered and have lower anxiety when facing new situations. It helps them put their best foot forward with any opportunity that comes their way.
And when our youth grow to be adults, it is demonstrating these crucial skills that helps get them their first job. It is these skills that help youth succeed later in life in progressing their careers. It is these skills that help them manage relationships and life, and the challenges and opportunities that come with it.
Despite these skills being so critical, most school curriculums currently do not focus on explicitly teaching these skills and our youth are missing out on maximising their potential.
Our Story
Mind Frame Grow Youth was created to fill a gap in the education of youth.
Most schools and other private education companies focus on explicitly teaching knowledge (i.e. Literacy, Maths, Science), only exposing youth to critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills through experiential learning with minimal guidance.
Mind Frame Grow fills this gap and explicitly teaches structured problem solving and communication tools and frameworks (modified from the management consulting world where we often deal with the most complex problems and stakeholders). We then grow these vital skills and capabilities in youth by facilitating practical and meaningful application.
Mind Frame Grow was also created to provide an avenue to extend gifted and high ability students to untap their potential and help them structure and harness their intellectual capabilities.
The result is an empowered student who feels prepared and confident to approach any challenge or opportunity in life.

Our Purpose

“ We exist to engage minds, enable with tools and frameworks, and empower by facilitating meaningful application in order to grow vital skills and capabilities in youth, so they can approach any challenge or opportunity with the confidence to succeed. ”
Our Founder

Luckshie Haran
Management Consultant. University Lecturer. Parent.
As a Management Consultant for almost 20 years, Luckshie has worked in Melbourne, London and Singapore, solving complex problems and delivering solutions to leading global organisations.
Luckshie was also a Lecturer at The University of Melbourne for 7 years, during which she taught problem solving and communication skills to over 2000 Masters students through interactive workshop-style classes.
Despite her varied background, it has been centred around two passions: 1) Solving problems 2) Developing skills and capabilities. These passions have driven her to enable growth, whether that be developing her clients, her teams, her students, or her children.
Her unique journey has led her to create Mind Frame Grow.
Our Learning Modules
We offer learning modules on Structured Problem Solving and Structured Communications, specifically tailored to youth.
The modules follow a balance of explicitly teaching tools and frameworks (modified from the management consulting world where we often deal with the most complex problems and stakeholders) as well as practical application (using fun activities, examples and scenarios meaningful and relevant to youth).
Each module has been designed to leverage effective learning strategies and to cater to various learning styles in both online and face-to-face formats, in order to maximise engaging, enabling and empowering our students to meet specific learning outcomes.
Structured Problem Solving

Students will explicitly learn a structured process to diagnose problems and develop meaningful, evidence-based solutions to any challenge or opportunity, addressing the root causes and key drivers of the problem.
Foundation Module (taken once):
Through explicit teaching of tools and frameworks during facilitated workshops, students will learn and practice how to identify root causes or drivers and develop meaningful and evidence–based solutions by breaking down problems in a structured and logical way, researching and analysing data, synthesising information, and identifying insights in teams. They will also learn how to take a structured approach to creative brainstorming.
Follow-On Modules (can be repeated):
Through facilitated workshops, students will apply their learning from the Foundation Module and solve a practical problem that is meaningful to them. As a team of 4 - 5, they will select and define the problem and work through the frameworks and all stages of problem solving, concluding with presenting their solution.
Structured Communications

Structured Communications follows a structured process of harnessing the power of storytelling to communicate key messages (orally or in written format) in a concise, engaging, logical and compelling way.
Foundation Module (taken once):
Through explicit teaching of tools and frameworks during facilitated workshops, students will learn and practice how to use storytelling to communicate and present key messages in a structured, concise, engaging, logical and compelling way, both orally (Debates, Presentations, Public Speaking) and in written format (Persuasives, Reports). They will also learn how to communicate in teams and how to strengthen their public speaking capabilities.
Follow-On Modules (can be repeated):
Through facilitated workshops, students will apply their learning from the Foundation Module and practice communicating a topic that is meaningful to them. As a team of 4-5, they will select the topic and work through the frameworks to structure their communication and effectively present in different oral and written formats.
Our Workshops
Our Structured Problem Solving and Structured Communications Learning Modules are delivered either online or face-to-face through live, engaging, interactive, facilitated workshops across four programs.

Testimonials
When I started preparing for scholarship exams and tried the numeric & verbal reasoning tests, I found I could break down the question quickly and that helped me to get the right answer. Some questions were tough, but I think learning problem solving with Luckshie helped me with this. I also think practicing my communications with Luckshie helped me with my scholarship applications and feel more confident for my interviews. I am really grateful (and so are my parents) as I got scholarships to multiple schools!

- Problem Solving & Communications
Foundation & Follow-On Modules
(Year 5-6)
I sometimes felt stressed that I didn’t have enough time to do all the things I want to do. By learning the problem solving frameworks, I learnt how to come up with better goals and break down how to achieve them. I still feel stressed at times but I feel like I can manage those feelings way better now.

- Problem Solving Foundation Module (Year 5-6)
I was taught the problem solving and communication foundation modules by Luckshie. It helped a lot when I worked on my Maths Talent Quest report because I referred back to the frameworks when I was planning my research and also when I was putting my report together. It made it much easier and I got a High Distinction!

Foundation Modules
(Year 5-6)
The communication foundation module was so much fun! I was a little nervous speaking up , but the tools given in the workshops made it feel much easier and less scary. It really helped me prepare and deliver my speech and prepare for my interview when I tried out for a School Captain role, which I actually got! Thanks so much.

Booking / Enrolment Process
WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I INCLUDE WHEN I BOOK MY CHILD INTO A LEARNING MODULE? The more insight you share with us about your child, the better, as we can then tailor how we teach and support your child. We are interested not only in how they are performing academically but also their achievements, challenges, and goals when it comes to extra-curricular interests and general day to day life. It is important that you also outline what specifically you hope your child will learn / receive from attending the Learning Module. If you are stuck, please look at the list of Learning Outcomes included under the Our Impact section on our website. Any information shared will be treated strictly confidential. HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN ENROL IN EACH LEARNING MODULE? There is a maximum of 20 students in any Learning Module delivered online (Online Term or Online Holiday programs) and a maximum of 24 students in any Learning Module delivered onsite (Afterschool program). WHY CAN’T I BOOK A PREFERRED LEARNING MODULE? Classes will be capped and students who miss out will need to book another available Learning Module or click on “Register Your Interest” so they can be placed on a waiting list for the next requested Learning Module to open. MY CHILD IS IN GRADE 4. CAN THEY ENROL IN ONE OF YOUR LEARNING MODULES? Children in Grade 5 & 6 will get first preference for a Learning Module, in the order that they book. If there is space, children in Grade 4 will be approved to enrol in a Learning Module, provided they are performing above level for their grade. Parents will need to submit their child’s school report to evidence this before their enrolment will be approved. WHY HAVE YOU ASKED FOR MY CHILD’S LATEST SCHOOL REPORT? If your child is in Grade 4, then we do need to witness your child’s report to evidence they are performing above level for their grade before we can accept their enrolment in a Learning Module. For other year levels, the attachment of your child’s school report is optional. However, by sharing your child’s report, we gain further insight into your child’s academic and behavioural background and therefore can better tailor teaching and support for your child. Please be assured that the report will be used strictly for these purposes and will be treated confidential. WHY DO YOU CHARGE A REGISTRATION FEE? Our once-off Registration Fee of $50 (inclusive of GST) is payable once per student. It helps cover our student administrative services, insurance costs, Pre-Term Parent Information Sessions, our post-class summaries, and the individualised feedback we provide on each child. WHY DO YOU RUN A PRE-TERM INFORMATION SESSION FOR PARENTS? We believe the best learning occurs when educators and parents/carers work as partners. We therefore invite parents/carers to attend an online Information Session prior to each new term beginning. During this session, we will provide an overview of the Learning Module (including an outline of what their child will learn week by week) and provide advice on how parents/carers can reinforce learnings at home to encourage deeper learning. We can also discuss what outcomes parents most want for their children and answer any questions parents may have.
Workshops / Programs / Learning Modules
WHO WILL BE OUR WORKSHOP FACILITATOR? Luckshie Haran, the Founder of Mind Frame Grow, will be your Workship Facilitator for every Learning Module, regardless of the program selected. Luckshie is skilled in facilitating both online and face-to-face workshops and has created each Module based on her extensive experience as a Management Consultant and University Lecturer. Please see the About Us section to learn more about Luckshie’s background. HOW ARE WORKSHOPS RUN? Workshops, whether there are delivered onsite or online, will be live and facilitated by our Founder, Luckshie Haran and will follow a similar format: • The Foundation Module workshops will be delivered through a mix of explicit teaching as well as fun, interactive exercises where students will be facilitated to work through relevant and engaging tasks in teams of 4-5. • The Follow-on Module workshops focus more on practical application in teams of 4-5, though students will be explicitly reminded of the tools and frameworks learnt in the Foundation module. Online Workshops will be delivered via Microsoft Teams using a combination of the main online room as well as break out rooms during group work. The facilitator will use effective online learning strategies and activities, and will visit each break out room during group work to help guide discussions. ARE THERE ANY MATERIALS MY CHILD NEEDS PRIOR TO STARTING THEIR LEARNING MODULE? Children need to come ready for each Workshop with a notebook and pens / pencils. All other materials will be provided / shared prior or during each Workshop. HOW DO THE LEARNING MODULES IN STRUCTURED PROBLEM SOLVING RELATE TO THOSE IN STRUCTURED COMMUNICATIONS? Though not compulsory, the Structured Problem Solving Learning Modules are designed to be taken first, before the Structured Communications Foundation module. This continues the natural progression of a student’s learning so that they first learn how to identify and develop solutions to a problem and then learn how best to communicate those solutions to drive change. Though it would be beneficial for children to attend the Structured Problem Solving Foundation Module prior to attending the Structured Communications Learning Modules, it is not necessary nor compulsory. However, by doing so, children will also gain a deeper understanding of what is learnt in both modules. We also may refer back to discussions in the Problem Solving modules in order to reinforce learning. CAN OUR CHILD ATTEND A FOLLOW-ON LEARNING MODULE WITHOUT THEM FIRST ATTENDING THE RELEVANT FOUNDATION LEARNING MODULE? No, it is vital that your child first attends the relevant Foundation Learning Module first to learn the various tools and frameworks and how to use them before their attend the Follow-On Learning Modules. Please review our programs as we offer holiday intensive programs on Foundation Modules that enable your child to complete the foundation module before the new term starts.
Missed Workshops / Cancellation Policy
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD MISSES A WORKSHOP? Learning Modules are designed to be delivered as a course, where the next workshop builds on the learning from the last. This means that it is important for your child to attend every workshop within a Learning Module and we do not offer partial refunds for any missed workshops. If your child needs to miss a lesson for medical reasons, you can notify us and request in writing to join an equivalent online workshop that week, or alternatively, we will try our best to get them up to speed during their next workshop. CAN I CANCEL MY CHILD’S SPOT IN A LEARNING MODULE AND GET A REFUND? We do not provide full refunds for change of mind, however in some circumstances we do provide you with credit that can be used for another Learning Module in the future. In the event that you wish to cancel your booking, your cancellation must be in writing to us prior to the Learning Module commences. Your cancellation will be effective from the day that we acknowledge receipt of your cancellation notice. Cancellation charges and credit provided vary depending on how early you cancel your booking: • Cancel 0-7 days before the Learning Module starts – no refund and no credit • Cancel 8-21 days before the Learning Module starts – no refund but 75% credit will be provided to be used for any available Learning Module in the future • More than 21 days before the Learning Module starts – no refund but 100% credit to be used for any available Learning Module in the future In the rare event that we have to cancel a Learning Module, you can transfer your enrolment to another available Learning Module, receive 100% credit to be used for any available Learning Module in the future, or receive a full refund.
